The name Calca 82 was derrived from the scientific name for the barramundi ‘Lates Calcarifer’. The goal was to produce a mid sized, broard body suspending jerkbait aimed squarely at the iconic Australian barramundi. The design and engineering process was meticulous to deliver a tight fast swimming action on heavy leaders commonly used when chasing these powerful pradators. Produced from a high density ABS with full through wire construction ensuring strength and durability in the harshest environments and an internal weight transfer system improving castabilty and maintaining the perfect balance at rest. Dressed in full with premium Japanese Decoy heavy duty hooks and rings to make sure hits and hook ups will stick.

The Calca 82 is perfect for casting at structure. Cast around fallen timber, twitch and pause the lure before working it deeper into the snags where fish will be holding. Cast up into creek mouth and slow roll along rock edges and drains. The Calca is perfect for steep banks due to its ability to dive fast.
